I think that we all could use a little cheering up.

George was such an amazing man but he wouldn't want us to be sad that he's gone. He'd want us to be happy for the life he had and the music he created. We will miss and never forget him but as long as he is within our hearts, his spirit will live on.

To George; a talented, funny and loving person.

Love you to )

Do you put up decorations for the holidays? If so, when do the decorations go up and when do you take them down?

Yesterday we put up the Christmas decorations but yeah, its usually Thanksgiving weekend we put them up. It was fun, playing Lastfm on the "Christmas" tag and watching my Mom fuss over the garland. XD

They're taken down a couple days after Christmas. Then again, we don't have a whole Christmas Wonderland lawn display or anything like that to take down so the whole putting up/taking down process takes about an afternoon. We don't make a big deal out of the holidays. *shrugs*

Oh also..*points* Christmas icon, which I literally made just now. :]

Tomorrow Never Knows
Title: Chapter Eighteen
Authors: [info]lovely_rita_mm,[info]jenny_wren28, & [info]pennylane_fic
Starring: The Beatles (specifically John Lennon) and Maggie Sue
Rating: R for language, sex, & implied drug use.
Disclaimer: We don’t own any of the Beatles, this obviously never happened, and much to the real Maggie’s disappointment, is a complete work of fiction.

Here's Part III of the Fancy Dress Ball. Enjoy!

In memory/celebration of what today marks, I'd like to present what I consider to be George's most beautiful, and possibly most underrated, song of all time: Marwa Blues.

right this way ladies and gents )
